Religious Education

Religious Education encompasses the faith formation of our entire parish community.
Our children learn and grow in their faith, and adults endeavor to continue in this
learning process throughout their lives.

RCIA for Children

Older children who have not received the Sacrament of Baptism (ages 7 and above) and have not received the Sacrament of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion must attend classes for two years before being eligible.  The first year, the child will receive the Sacrament of Baptism and the second year, with a continuation of classes, will receive the Sacrament of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

Adult Enrichment

Fr. Daniel offers Adult Religious Education sessions on Tuesdays during the school year. The schedule includes four or more parent Units (on average) of six to seven weeks each.  Since our children do not learn in isolation, but rather with their families, we ask that parents attend one of these units over the course of the year in addition to helping their children with religious education at home, praying daily, and attending Mass regularly. Click here for the schedule of the Units being offered this school year.  The cost of each Unit is $10.00 and all classes are held at the Social Center at 6:00PM.  Pre-registration is not required.

PLEASE NOTE:  The Archdiocese of Santa Fe policy mandates that all volunteers attend the Abuse Awareness Training for Adults.  Click on VIRTUS on our homepage to take the Abuse Awareness Training on-line.
